Strong Women, Strong Business

Behind every successful woman is a tribe of successful women who have her back.

My apologies for not writing a blog for a while.  I have been working hard to upgrade my skills to deliver the very best service to you all. Last week I was amazingly fortunate enough to be selected out of 500 applicants to be part of 180 incredible Indigenous business women from rural, remote and urban areas around Australia for the first ever Strong Women, Strong Business National Conference. The photo is of the South Australian delegation – I’m in the centre at the front.

It was an amazing environment to be in – incredibly inspiring Indigenous women successfully operating in a huge diversity of businesses: locally, nationally and globally! Each business was unique, facing it’s own challenges and successes. What was incredible was the environment of supportive collaboration rather than competitiveness, which is a wonderful way to operate. I’m really excited as to what we can all do to support each other and facilitate the growth of each of our businesses.  It really is “watch this space”.  I cannot thank Indigenous Business Australia enough for having the vision to proactively bring us all together.  Look out world, we are a positive force for change and success for ourselves, our families and our communities.

The Kaurna Welcome to Country and smoking ceremony on the grassy edges of Glenelg beach at sunset was haunting, beautiful and set the scene for a wave of Indigenous Women stepping into our power! I can honestly say that I have gained hundreds of new sisters and will attempt to follow their journeys while I also contribute too.

I will be forever grateful for this inspiring event.

From a strong Badimaya Business Woman,

Bianca xx
