Warida Wholistic Wellness | Organisational Learning
Above and Below the Line
Culturally Integrated Leadership and Workplace Wellbeing Training
A practical and engaging training experience that helps individuals and teams notice behaviours, understand their impact, and choose a more constructive response.
- 2 Hour Immersive Experience
- All Staff and Leadership Teams
- In Person or Online
Above the Line
Responses that support reflection, openness and meaningful engagement.
- Curiosity and willingness to listen
- Taking responsibility for our choices
- Respectful and honest communication
- Openness to different perspectives
- Deep listening and relational awareness
- Connection and collaborative action
Below the Line
Responses that can arise when we experience pressure, uncertainty or perceived threat.
- Defensiveness and blame
- Withdrawal or avoidance
- Making assumptions
- Reacting without reflection
- Difficulty hearing another perspective
- Disconnection and reduced trust
Everyone moves between these responses. The opportunity is to notice where we are and explore how to respond differently.
The Warida culturally integrated approach
This experience extends beyond identifying workplace behaviours to explore what may be influencing them.
Grounded in the Warida Method, the training draws upon Ngardi Guwanda, the Badimia practice of listening, thinking and feeling deeply.
Participants are invited to consider the influence of culture, lived experience, trauma, power, organisational expectations and relationships upon the way people respond.
Warida’s LISTEN Framework supports participants to pause, reflect, listen deeply and move towards intentional and accountable action.
Cultural safety is not simply about individual awareness. It is also shaped by power, relationships, systems and the conditions organisations create for people to feel heard and respected.
What will we explore together?

Personal Awareness
Recognising our own responses, pressure patterns, assumptions and opportunities for reflection.

Deep Listening
Practising curiosity, Ngardi Guwanda and relational awareness in workplace interactions.

Cultural and Relational Safety
Exploring how culture, power, history, trauma and workplace conditions influence participation and trust.

Accountability and Choice
Moving beyond automatic reactions towards responsibility, respectful dialogue and practical action.
PRACTICAL OUTCOMES
Stronger People. Healthier Workplaces.
This is not two hours of sitting and listening to a presentation.
Participants engage through guided reflection, interactive activities, realistic workplace scenarios, paired conversations and opportunities to practise responding differently.
Activities are facilitated with care, recognising that personal reflection and culturally safe learning require choice, dignity and respect. Participants are not expected to disclose personal experiences of trauma.
Participants will leave with:
- Greater awareness of their own workplace responses.
- Practical ways to pause and respond with curiosity.
- A deeper understanding of cultural and relational influences upon behaviour.
- Strategies for navigating challenging conversations.
- An understanding of how individual and organisational accountability work together.
- One or two meaningful actions to strengthen everyday workplace practice.
